Custom dining table
Design, fabrication and installation of a unique piece in solid oak.
The brief
The client came to us with a hand-drawn sketch showing the dimensions and her initial idea for the table. From that starting point, we developed a solution tailored to the space, carefully considering the proportions, the selection of the wood and every construction detail.
Throughout the process, she was able to follow the evolution of the piece, from selecting the material through to fabrication and the final finish.

Construction details
The design combines a solid oak top with a metal frame defined by clean, simple lines. The contrast between the two materials allows the wood to remain the focus while giving the piece a sense of visual lightness.
The metal elements integrated into the corners resolve the junction between the frame and the top. Although primarily structural, they remain visible and become part of the table’s design language.
The natural edge of the oak was preserved, respecting the wood’s inherent irregularities and reinforcing the unique character of the piece.

The result
The result is a solid yet visually light dining table, where oak and steel come together as a single piece.
The natural edge, the grain and the inherent irregularities of the wood make each piece unique.
